Brenda Meza is the Managing Director of PUENTE Charter School, where she leads the strategic direction and daily operations of the institution. With over 15 years of experience in education, Brenda has played a pivotal role in enhancing academic standards, strengthening teacher development programs, and fostering a culture of innovation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside. Throughout her career she has worked as an After School Teacher, Substitute Teacher, Paraprofessional, Attendance Clerk, Dual Language Teacher, Education Consultant, and Dean of Curriculum & Instruction. Most recently she served as the Principal at PUENTE Charter School where she led the buildout of the TK-5th grade school and secured a 6 year charter renewal.
Brenda is passionate about creating inclusive, future-focused learning environments. She believes in empowering educators and students.
In addition, Brenda enjoys traveling, baseball and food.
