- Summer Youth Program Leader (4 positions)
Job Description
The Summer Youth Program Leader will work with the College and Career Program staff to implement college and career readiness workshops for 9th-12th grade high school students.
Internship Duration
- June 23 – July 24, 2025 (5 weeks)
Monday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Stipend: to be paid every two weeks (total of $1400)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support staff with daily lessons and activities that include: community building, forming discussions, encouraging deep thinking, teaching effective communication skills, and promoting positive social engagement
- Assist with student interaction and engagement
- Help students, plan, prepare, and stay on track with their assignments
- Help students understand their roles and responsibilities in their team assignments and projects

- Development Associate (1 position)
Job Description
The Development Associate Intern will work closely with the Advancement Department to assist with overall fundraising, marketing and communications strategies for PUENTE Learning Center.
Internship Duration
- June 23 – July 24, 2025 (5 weeks)
- Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 1:00pm
- Stipend: to be paid every two weeks (total of $1,400)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Organize all folders, files, and documentation, both on the electronic server and paper files, ensuring proper naming conventions and intuitive filing.
- Filing, reviewing past proposals and budgets, and analyzing program data.
- Learn how to draft letter of intent, create program budgets, and write grant reports.
- Learn how to develop a social media strategy, create and post content across all social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok), and learn about social impact storytelling that inspires giving through identifying, interviewing, and writing a story for a fundraising appeal.
- Assist with overall marketing and communication strategies.
