PUENTE Learning Center is proud to celebrate our CEO, Jerome Greening, for being recognized as a Leader of Influence in Nonprofit & Philanthropy by the Los Angeles Business Journal. This recognition honors nonprofit leaders across Los Angeles County who are making a meaningful difference in their communities through their leadership, service, and commitment to creating lasting change.
For more than 25 years, Jerome has been part of the PUENTE community, contributing to the organization’s mission of expanding access to education and opportunity. Since becoming CEO in 2020, he has helped guide PUENTE through continued growth and strengthen its impact, all while keeping the needs, aspirations, and voices of the community at the heart of our work.
Under Jerome’s leadership, PUENTE continues to create pathways for individuals and families to pursue their educational goals, access valuable resources, and build brighter futures. Each year, our programs serve more than 2,000 people, providing opportunities that empower learners of all ages and support the Boyle Heights community.
This recognition reflects not only Jerome’s dedication and leadership, but also the collective efforts of PUENTE’s staff, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Together, we work to ensure that individuals and families have the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. Jerome’s longstanding commitment to PUENTE and Boyle Heights is an important part of that shared effort.
