PUENTE is pleased to share the appointment of Brenda Meza as PUENTE Charter School Interim Principal, effective as of July 1st. She has most recently served as PUENTE Charter School’s Dean of Curriculum and Instruction.

“Brenda has brought a depth and breadth of instructional and professional development expertise that has deepened the capacity and outcomes of our charter school. I am so pleased that she will serve our community in this important role,” says PUENTE CEO Jerome Greening.

Brenda previously worked as an education consultant for Growing Educators. Prior to consulting, she taught in primary and upper grades at a dual immersion school in South Los Angeles. She holds a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelors in Psychology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside. Brenda is a native Spanish speaker who was raised in East LA.
